Last summer, we were privileged to work with top British photographer and film-maker, Chris Floyd, and video producer, Michael Stanish at Ground Control, to produce a series of short films ‘in conversation’ with some of our clients, to really explain what it’s like to work with us.
Simon Court, CEO, explains: “We wanted to bring to life the authentic and client-centred way we work with clients. The series of five films showcase the journey our clients take when working with Value Partnership to achieve their goals. We brought together a diverse group of clients from Miniclip, Tipico, GS1, Groupe SEB and Thales, who gave their time generously and candidly shared their stories with us. The results speak for themselves, truly representing who we are, what we stand for and how we work with our clients today”.
Director Chris Floyd’s work has appeared in some of the world’s most highly respected publications, including The New Yorker, Harpers Bazaar, GQ, Esquire, The New York Times Magazine, The Sunday Times Magazine and Wallpaper*, among others. He has shot advertising campaigns for British Airways, Apple, Sony and Philips and has been selected several times for the National Portrait Gallery’s Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize and the annual publication, American Photography. “It was an absolute treat to be able to be among so many motivated, inspiring and smart people for the duration of the project” he says, “and to also receive a lot of very helpful free advice on the running of my own business while I was working with them.”
Ground Control’s clients include Nike, Dulux, Hertz, Adidas and the UK National Lottery. CEO Michael Stanish: “Since meeting Simon at Value Partnership, I was inspired by his track record and the stories he told. We both thought it would be a great opportunity to capture these client journeys on video. Each and every account was an extraordinary story of achievement and we wanted to make those the focus.
