2015 was a year of continued growth and change for Value Partnership, as it was for many of our clients.

We shared our research on leadership teams and how they can work together to lead strategic change in an ever-changing business context. This took the form of a series of events, an article and a set of blogs based on the 8 foundations we articulated for a leadership team to be prepared for and resilient to turbulence and uncertainty. If you haven’t read the research already, you can find it here on our new website, which we launched in the Autumn and which now reflects our changing business, growing team of consultants and emerging social media presence.

Our events next year will be based around a number of challenges which we are confident will resonate with many of you. These are likely to include: the mobility revolution; building an agile organisation; culture change leadership; digital strategy – and entrepreneurship.

Finally, this year we have chosen to support two charities; my late father grew up with no idea who his real parents were. He was taken in by Barnardo’s who took care of him until he was adopted by the Court family at the age of 7. He went on to become a Commander in the Royal Navy, a Head Teacher and Charity Leader but it was Barnardo’s that rescued him and gave him that essential start in life. I will be running the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon in February to raise further money for Barnardo’s – if you would like to contribute, it would be most welcome!

As families continue to flee Syria and face winter without a home, we are also pleased to support the work of RefugEase, a local NGO set up to raise funds to send food, supplies and medicines to those refugees arriving on European shores. We hope our contribution will also help towards their efforts in building a hospital and school classroom at the Pikpa camp in Lesbos – a landing place for vulnerable refugees and unaccompanied minors.

Feel free to sign up to the website of follow us on Twitter if you’d like to receive news of our upcoming events, have an interest in joining our team, or just want to get in touch.

With all good wishes for a healthy and prosperous year ahead, from all of the team at Value Partnership.
