Andrew worked in management positions for 27 years in pharmaceuticals and consumer healthcare for GSK before beginning a portfolio career combining consultancy, investing, writing, acting and academic study. Fluent in Russian and Spanish and with several other languages having spent 22 years outside the UK, Andrew has lived in Russia, Argentina, Poland and Costa Rica which has given him a rich multi-cultural background and an ability to improve performance across highly diverse teams in often economically challenging environments. He has a particular talent for coaching and developing future leaders. As a consultant he has worked on market-entry strategies, advising on acquisitions and led a fundraising round for a small company. He currently manages a small private UK healthcare company on a part-time basis. Andrew holds a BA in Russian from the University of Durham and an MA in Modern French Literature from the University of Hull and is studying part-time for a PhD at UCL. For the last 3 years he has volunteered one morning a week at Watford foodbank. Outside work his main passions are acting and running. He regularly appears in amateur theatrical productions in NW London and this year completed the 95-mile West Highland Way race for the fourth time.
